Final Hunt

Our team name for the scavenger hunt was the popcorn gang. The significance of this logo comes from a group assignment in class where we all worked in a group to prepare a blog for our client in a quarter hour. (Task 3)
My group took a picture in front of the iconic GVSU clocktower outside of the Kirkhof building. (task 4)
My group took a picture at one of our favorite spots to study outside of Kirkhof. Here students can enjoy a beautiful view while they study. (task 4)
The library is the place on campus where students go to work on homework, projects, and study for exams. Here students have all the tool they need to succeed. (task 4)
Lake Superior hall is where all three of us take classes because we are all Advertising and Public Relations majors at Grand Valley State University. (task 4)

Area 51 is a place on campus where I go to enjoy my food from Kirkhof. Area 51 is a good place to relax and get work done in between classes. (task 6)
This Fish statue is outside Zumberge hall. This art work is outside the field that i like to go when the weather is nice. It is significant to me because growing up my grandparents lived in Florida and loved the beach. At the beach we would often fish and this art piece reminds me of them. (task 7)
In the gvsu annual report it stated this year Grand Valley state raised the most money at twenty six million dollars from 14,000 donors. When I did the math, each donor would aprx. donate at least $1850 which is a lot when you have 14 thousand donors. On top of that last year there was only 12.6 million dollars from donors so the number has increased over fifty percent which is double than previous years. This is my favorite meme. Here shows a picture of Los Angeles kings captain dustin brown drinking a water bottle but from the wrong end. Its significance is the hockey community making a joke at the mistake he made while drinking water in between periods at one of his games. The meme here makes fun of the idea hockey players have a drinking problem by Dustin brown drinking the wrong way from the water bottle. (task 10)

Reflection

Overall I really enjoyed the technology in Apr CAP105 course. Here i learned about new ways to analyze social media accounts, and learned just enough to be dangerous. We also did hands on assignments as if we were in the work place and had to make our first blog post in a quarter hour with our groups. I also learned photoshop skills that I learned for the first time and thought it was cool on how you can change photos in so many different ways. I also learned a lot about creating your own content because people will sue you, so with tools like canva I learned to make my own images to use for blogs and other assignments down the line. Lastly I learned how to do an audit on a brand and make suggestions on ways for the company to improve on social media and online. I am happy I took this course and learned a lot over the semester.
